In order to be transparent and seek input from the diverse business and labor communities, L&I is currently seeking stakeholder feedback on draft administrative policy PW.A.1, Travel Time for Public Works Projects.

We are asking the public to review and provide feedback on the draft of the administrative policy by November 8, 2024.

As someone who is involved with prevailing wage projects, who does not meet the requirements to receive prevailing wage. I do indeed think travel time for *specialty items* should be applicable, so those who do not typically receive this additional wage, can then begin receiving prevailing wage. This would include traveling to, from, in between, and stand-by time. This wage item should be included in all prevailing wage projects, including davis bacon.

We would like to see more people meet the requirement vs not. Potentially in the future, this could be applicable to project managers who are not on-site for the whole duration of the project, but those who do a lot of work in the background, off-site, in the company's office.
